Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh (PCB) is the authority of the government to regulate and accreditate the pharmacy education in Bangladesh. A four-year B. Pharm (Honours) degree (Graduation) and a one year M. Pharm degree (Post-Graduation) in pharmacy are offered in numerous universities of Bangladesh. 

Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh (PCB): The Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh (PCB) is an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. It was established under the Pharmacy Ordinance, Ordinance No. X111 of 1976. The council can be considered as the controlling authority of pharmacy education and practice 

Composition of the Council:

1. President: Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family

Welfare (ex-officio)

2. Members:

a. Ex-officio Members (03)

 Directorate General of Health Services

 Directorate General of Drug Administration

 Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka

b. Other Members (10)

 Four persons to be nominated by the Government

 One Qualified Pharmacist to be nominated by the

Bangladesh Aushud Shilpa Samity

 One Qualified Pharmacist to be nominated by the

Bangladesh Chemist & Drugist Samity

 Three Persons to be nominated by the Bangladesh

Pharmaceutical Society (under the societies Registration

Act 1860)
